These are some of our larger hoods, molded out of fiberglass, which we can include free of charge to protect fans, shutters, cutout plates, and so forth. When we put these on a sound enclosure, we include 2" convoluted sound foam at no extra charge so that escaping sound is not only redirected but also absorbed one last time before going into the surrounding environment. We have smaller hoods, of course; if necessary, we will build larger hoods from fiberglassed framed lumber (instead of molded, like these). The hoods are actually bright white, though the digital camera recorded them as yellow.
